can't shake this minor cough and nose/throat/headache infection, what to do?

Is this "Long Covid"? I've been resisting getting a 'script for Antibiotics on the theory its better to just give the old immune system a work out, but this has been lingering for nearly two months now.

Every doctor I know that is still around is pro-Vaxx (knew TWO old doctors that were non-Vaxx and BOTH suddenly "retired" at height of Vaxx craze), so I think I've gotta Self-Educate before I even ask them for any 'scripts for Antibiotics for anything even close to "Covid". Probably just do online Telemed at one of those Anti-Vaxx sites.

What is standard Antibiotics for lingering nose, thoat, lung infection with minor cough, thick yellow mucus, etc?

Antibiotics won't do a damn thing for a virus, if that is the problem. I don't know maybe you should see a DR, instead of seeking medical advise on a Firearms centered forum.

"see a DR, instead of seeking medical advise on a Firearms centered forum". Thats crazy talk. I forgot to mention the pro-Vaxx doctors I stopped seeing where also all into declaring no-symptom patients "Have Covid-19" (require Red China/Australian Kovid Kamp isolation) due to bogus PCR test results.

I'm thinking "Antibiotics will LIKELY cure it, and no real down side if it is a virus and they don't work". I've not taken Antibiotics hardly at all, only when pre-perscribed for tooth pulls, etc.

Well sorry I guess I should have suggested something different, I should have known better.

I've got a gallon or two of blech in the garage, wanna give that a try? It'll cure you or kill you as they say.

once I went to my old doc with fairly good sore throat, coof, etc. He insisted I get chest x-ray for pneumonia and said if it comes back pos I'm going into hospital. After Kovid Kash Killers and Vents, bad injections besides Vaxx, etc, I don't think I'd check into any hospital for any respiratory issue with mild symptoms.

AFAIK, all the Kovid Kook stuff is 110% still in effect just waiting to spring back into action. There have been exactly zero reforms, much less anyone fired, and RFKjr has fizzled out upon taking office.

You are describing what I had for almost 2 months at the beginning of the year. Felt better end of Feb, turned around in March and got worse again, it effected my breathing much more this time. Went to the Doc, had chest Xray's, I have pneumonia, fluid in my lungs. For symptoms I also had daily sweats and cold shakes. My med was Amoxicillin.

Edit, my cough was not minor, it was severe. I could not talk any more as my throat was so sore.

Mine has never gotten more than "OK, I've definitely got a bug and nice production of thick yellow and white mucus that is sorta fun to clear out when I wake up", and minor head fog. Hasn't effected my routine, except giving me excuse to veg out and sleep a bit more.

Started taking extra C, Zinc and D, and multi-V. I do got Horse Paste (for horses apple paste) but its packed away. I guess I should just order more, now that its not in high demand.

How long after the Amoxicillin did it clear up?

I finished this Tuesday with the Amoxicillin. Breathing is better, I still have a little flem, but it is not tan-ish in color any more, it's more white now. That thick paste flem was the condition that my doctor first said was an infection-that was before the Xray. Physically I am really tired and weak, still short of breath when I try and do something. I would suggest getting an Xray, if you have a bacteria infection you need antibiotics.

You most likely have a secondary bacterial infection. Possibly bronchitis or walking pneumonia. Go to the doc and get checked out. There's no need to suffer. If you wait too long to treat, sometimes you will get permanent scarring of the lung tissue.

TBH, that doesn't sound too good. When ever I get over a nice solid nose, throat, lung infection there is always that glorious last big blow out and rebound that almost makes you happy got sick. Like your body especially the nose, throat and lungs just got an Italian Tuneup.

Maybe its just random, but I'm still willing to consider this could be more of Fauci and company Gain Of Function releases. Nothing drastic that will make headlines, just make a lot of people sickly for much longer.

Kind of late but if you're still having problems with this, look into nebulizing glutathione. You'll need to get it from a doctor. Some places offer a service to do it in house, or you can purchase a nebulizer and do it yourself at home. You may need to look into getting it from a Naturopathic doc, if your doc doesn't believe in it. Over a month after having what I believe was covid, I was on/off coughing and hacking up stuff. I went in and had this done two times and it was gone. I purchased my own nebulizer and had to do it again, about a year later. Only took once, and wow, breathing easy and no cough. Nebulizing glutathione is getting a lot of traction in the firefighting communities, as it helps them with smoke inhalation.
