new plague just announced in China!

Sounds pretty serious. IMO last Covid Hoax was mostly to derail Trump's planned Trade War with Red China, in co-op with Big Pharma, RINOs and DNC, and Big Tech.

Could this be Part II of that? Is this how the Dems will re-group? Bring back Lock-Downs and all the petty authority it gifts all the low level tyrants in public sector and public connected venues? Will some new thingy be stood up to replace USAIDS and other targets of DOGE. Trump should be easy to sucker just like last time. Just tell him he will be able to take credit for some "big beautiful perfect etc" new thing.

      1. I have not seen or heard anything about this from the normal sources I use on the internet

      2. I'm not sure if Chinese people are ready for another shut down. They might be, but they nearly rebelled after 3 years of shut down last time. It was bad enough that ChiCom immediately lifted the order and allowed people to come outside their houses.

I was at SFO at height of Covid and lockdowns in China. IIRC there were still direct flights from locked down Wuhan into SFO, and you'd see big crowds just arrived, everyone coughing and nose blowing. One Chinese was telling me his parents were lucky to have been able to escape and fly to USA.

Who can forget Nancy Pelosi putting on Super Spreader Events. BTW, Chinese do NOT like weird strangers coming up and hugging them. They seem OK with close quarters in crowds of strangers but making it suddenly One On One personal is not something they want to deal with.

Woman hospitalized in Wyoming with H5N1 bird flu

A woman in Wyoming was hospitalized with H5N1 bird flu, according to health officials who say she was likely infected by handling sickened birds in a backyard flock.

According to a statement from Wyoming’s public health department, the woman is “an older adult” and has “other health conditions,” which may have made her more susceptible to the disease. She is being treated in another state.

This marks the first human case of bird flu in Wyoming and the 70th human case in the United States since 2024. Although the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s website lists only 68 human cases on its website, it does not yet include this case or another announced earlier this week in a poultry worker from Ohio.

She is also the fourth person in North America to have been hospitalized with the disease. One person in Louisiana died from the infection.

It is not clear whether she was infected with the D1.1 version of the H5N1 virus, which is now widespread in wild birds, poultry and cattle herds in Nevada and Arizona — or the B3.13 version, which is associated with the vast majority of dairy herds...
