I like Stossel. He is always wrong even though he is always right.

I see this as fairly simple: Every County and/or State has language that some "Public Health Officer" can do such and such and "....or ANY OTHER ACTION as they deem necessary."

That is supposed to mean like if you ask a cop "Am I free to go?" and he says "Yes", and you say "Where can I go?" and he says "Anywhere you want" that is not an all access pass to Area 51.

"any other" is not supposed to mean "Health Officer is absolute dictator of everyone" it means "any other" that doesn't infringe on anyone's other rights. Like if they have a budget they don't need permission to change the size of bandaids they buy.

Cops were eager to use these non-legal new powers to harass nice people, of course, then they got force-Vaxxed.

IDK about many, if any, actual New Laws (besides spending bills) that passed to make Overreach happen.
