I recall hearing during the scandemic that Websters dictionary revised the definition of "vaccine". I was too pissed to look it up then. I don't know what the former definition was but just looked at their new one: "a preparation that is administered (as by injection) to stimulate the body's immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease"
Is that anything like stimulating your appetite before actually eating?
I'll take being actually immune versus being temporarily stimulated as a definition of a true vaccine.Comment
