Yep, his character demonstrated an economy of words, and frankly taught me a few things about that. Still way too verbose though, sadly. However, TrappedinCalifornia does underscore IMO that most things, like lying, aren't black and white rather degrees and shades of gray not easily reduced to a few words. Hence we have a discussion forum that ebbs and flows.
Today is a relatively busy day with thread updates, forex, compared to the recent silence. I expect it to get busy again as we move into the next election cycle in earnest. Covid is a scourge that keeps on tugging at our elbow, it appears.Comment

I almost sleep walked into getting Vaxxed. My boss got us some Priority as "essential workers". Then the project got shut down.
Some Noticers have noticed Covid and more importantly VAXX seemed to go away as soon as Ukraine happened, and now that Ukraine is going nowhere (for the West) suddenly Covid and VAXX is back with vengeance.
PS-Covid never happened, at best they just re-named the Flu. 2020 wasn't even a bad Flu year, 2018 was. Some say 2018 was a bad Flu year because that was peak Trump economy and everyone was working long hours in crowded offices or construction etc and not eating right, etc, and that matches other Flu and economic spikes. AFAIK its still Virus THEORY anyways.
I hear one excuse for Flu shot 1/2 century of ongoing total failure to make any dent or show positive results is "can't find cure for common cold because their is no one Common Cold bug, it keeps changing".
