in spite of not being an official business, it was gifted $400,000 of funds from Newsom directed "econ dev fund".

Newsom also cozy with all sorts of shady CCP groups, but that is hardly news.

I'm mostly pro-China, at least how they are running their own biz, but this is soft-core "Red Dawn" tier stuff.

My latest Red Dawn remake and "ripped from today's headlines" would be a new Plandemic sweeping across CA or NW. Everyone is flat on their butts with fever, couffing, etc, but mostly not yet dead. But fortunately, a "Vaccine" had been created in China and they will even send in Medical Staff that have been Vaxxed, which is needed because it takes Vaxx a few weeks to kick in, and CCP will only send Vaxx if their techies admin it, because they can't risk limited Vaxx going to waste. People start to notice that everyone who gets Vaxxed starts to slowly but surely lose mental capacity, especially any ability to "stand up for one's self" or "connect dots" AKA conspiracy theory. This is touted as beneficial side effect and improvement in "public mental health" by not just CCP but TV and politicians, but also promised to be temporary condition.
