All of this, I vividly remember those of us that spotted this for what it was when the "2 weeks to flatten the curve" crap was announced.Same here. It was a rough 2 1/2 years. Still have to be careful who I say what to. Some are still adhering to the C19/mask/vax religion.
One of the things that we did was get out of all of the noise from the news and headlines on the net. Just looked at data and came to my own conclusions. Too much of what I was hearing on MSM etc just didn't add up to what I've been taught in the past.Buy made in USA whenever possible.Comment

I actually was late to the game.
I was only "hesitant" about the vaccine in the beginning. The reason was how fast it came to the market. That made me a bit suspicious. Why so fast? Why didn't we have a vaccine for the ebola virus for 40 years but the vaccine for wuhan virus came out in 4 months?
Then I was thinking about getting the vaccine. Fortunately all the early doses went to old people first. Younger people like me were at the back of the line. I became more and more hesitant as time went on. The symptoms of the wuhan virus became less and less severe. Numbers came out and showed the early deaths were from people with problems and/or killed by putting everyone on ventilators. Those vents killed more people than the disease.
The more I waited, the more anecdotal evidences came out showing the wuhan virus was just another common cold. Remember, all statistics are made up of anecdotes.
I was an early adopter of technology in my younger days. Then I became more conservative. I tend to slow down a bit and let others beta test things for me first. This vaccine was no different. I let others beta test it for me first before I made my decision.
The other thing was the way the establishment pushed it. They were talking about vaccine passport and how companies were to force employees to get it. That rubbed me the wrong way. I'm an American. I don't like to be forced to do anything. Ask me nicely and I will seriously consider it. Tell me to do something and I will most likely refuse, simply because I don't like the attitude.Comment

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. being resistant isn't enough. the history of conservatism in america is perennially being on the defense. until people can go on the offensive and assume the legal risk of actively going against these compliance tests, nothing will change. our rights will just continually be ebbed away. there are many imaginative and novel ways to disrupt the establishment, people just need to be creative.Comment

A friend of mine has retinal vascular occlusion. I googled it and it seems like this is a side effect of the vax? Anybody else hear about this one?
I pulled this up, but this is WAY beyond my pay grade (or school grade).
Although rare, ocular reactions following COVID-19 vaccinations can occur. In this article, we summarize the various ocular adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination reported in the peer-reviewed literature.
Retinal Conditions
Acute macular neuroretinopathy[39][40][41], central retinal artery occlusion[42], central retinal vein occlusion[43][44], central serous chorioretinopathy[45], paracentral acute middle maculopathy[46], and retinal hemorrhage[47] have all been reported in the peer-reviewed literature following COVID-19 vaccination. Disease courses ranged from complete resolution with return to BCVA to permanent vision loss, depending on the severity of disease. Many of these patients lacked medical comorbidities that may have predisposed them to these conditions, although hormone-based birth control was noted in a few patients[40][41]. However, population-based adverse event reporting systems show that vaccination-associated retinal conditions are exceedingly rare, making it difficult to ascertain the causative nature of COVID-19 vaccination on subsequent retinal pathologies[9].Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips
