I beg to differ. One can play an entire game of basketball against opponents of roughly even skill level. We have seen that in the NBA. No one has ever played an entire game of hockey in NHL.

The thing about hockey is one couldn?t catch even a small break. Even standing on skates take energy. One could rest by standing in shoes.

Hockey is a lot of interval training. One minute of all out skating and two minutes of rest. It?s a lot more stress than a more constant pace like soccer or basketball. Not to mention a 200 lb guy trying to knock you on your behind because you have the puck.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest does not equal heart attack. While SCA can be predicted, the predictions are not reliable and the first sign of susceptibility to SCA is the SCA itself.

In SCA, the heart's electrical system goes awry and the beating stops. In the "nagged by your wife about your weight and smoking" heart attack, a blood vessel becomes blocked and part of the heart muscle begins to die.

SCA = electrical grid malfunction. Heart attack = plumbing problem.

Until resuscitation, your chance of survival from SCA is reduced 10% per minute. Damar Hamlin had a defibrillator on him in < 1 minute.
