    Ventilators more dangerous than C19!

The findings refute the idea that a cytokine storm following COVID-19 - an overwhelming inflammation response causing organ failure - was responsible for a significant number of deaths. There was no evidence of multi-organ failure in the patients studied.

Instead, COVID-19 patients were more likely to develop ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and for longer periods. Cases where VAP didn't respond to treatment were significant in terms of the overall mortality rates in the study.

Without any chance of true journalism occurring in our country this is just another study for conspiracy theorists, whether true or not.

So, up to 40% mortality with ventilators and VAP in ICU patients with pre existing pulmonary issues.

"Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is one of the most frequent ICU-acquired infections. Reported incidences vary widely from 5 to 40% depending on the setting and diagnostic criteria. VAP is associated with prolonged duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay. The estimated attributable mortality of VAP is around 10%, with higher mortality rates in surgical ICU patients and in patients with mid-range severity scores at admission. Microbiological confirmation of infection is strongly encouraged."

Why it took 3 years to figure out? If you come here three years ago-it was already deemed deadly for human being.
