Glad I saw the world before all this nonsense. Heck I wouldn't take Amtrak or a bus these days. Any industry that successfully vaccinated most or all of their workers is at risk, even if it's a small one.

Remember the uproar back in the 70's when just a few folks got Guillain Barre and it was tied to the Swine Flu vaccine, out of over 20 million+ dosed? That was nothing compared to what's already here and we haven't seen the worst of it yet.

Feel a bit bad..my brother has 2 little kids and wife. In his late 30s , former active Marine, now flys as a Captain in commercial airlines. Got the clot shot so he could do what he spent a considerable time/money and effort achieved Captains seat. Worked dam near slave wages flying CRJ's around. I sure hope he doesn't get Injecticide effects.

I wonder how the loss of experience will affect future flight safety.

A lot of pilots, flight crew and air traffic controllers quit instead of taking the shot. No there is the double whammy of new inexperienced folks and those vaccine injured at the controls. Recipe for disaster.

That's exactly what will happen. Cashiers are already being replaced, I'd say the majority of checkout counters are automated (even places like Hobby Lobby.) They still need people to flip burgers and make fries but that's about it.
