LITERALLY millions of doses of Paxlovid have been taken by MILLIONS of people (including myself, my wife, my mother in law, my son) and dozens other I personally know and care about. NONE have suffered ANY ill effects, and all found a significant reduction in Covid symptoms and had a quicker recovery. The article does NOT say Paxlovid is dangerous in and of itself and only vaguely references the fact that as new strains of Covid come along, it may not be as effective. It cites NO peer reviewed studies of any sort. (as opposed to any number of actual studies showing its efficacy)

The same argument made in the article can be said of any antibiotic or antiviral of any sort.

I took Paxlovid over Christmas. Worked great for me. It's AIDS medication. Go figure.

Literally billions of doses of COVID vaccines (safe and effective) were administrated around the world, not too many affected yet (data is hidden by big pharma and governments, not available to peer review).
You choose to take, I choose to decline. I have co-worker, he had heart attack couple of years ago, before this scam. He is on medication on daily basis. Now he got rona and his Dr prescribe it. He got right away reaction because this medication is not compatible with his heart supporting medication. He stop taking heart medication (dumb idiot) Luckily he finish course and back on heart support. We already heard these stories: " one ER nurse said all ER rooms are filled with COVID infected". Please do not repeat it, we are not idiots.

That's anecdotal, although just as anecdotal as what I'm about to post. Of the first half dozen people I prescribed Paxlovid to, two patients ended up admitted with pancreatitis. The ER doctors claimed that it was definitely the Paxlovid, even though Covid can also cause the disease because they had admitted a dozen people in the past week, all of them after starting Paxlovid.

It may not be every patient, but Paxlovid certainly does seem to have some serious adverse effects for some.

On the other hand, I've prescribed thousands of doses of valacyclovir over the decades and have never seen a bad reaction. I've prescribed hundreds of doses of Tamiflu and Xofluza and have never seen a bad reaction. This isn't just "business as usual with antibiotics or antivirals". There seems to be more here.
