You are correct. Same as there is no vaccine for covid, and yet everyone (not on calguns) calls it the Covid-19 vaccine. There are untold numbers of words the left has redefined to suit their agenda.... standard vs high capacity magazines, etc.

I've had many a flu and cold over my 6 decades of life between catching stuff at the office or what the kids brought home from school most recently. I've doubted the covid tests all along. Symptoms have been reliable indicators for everything I've ever had whether cold, flu, food poisoning, appendicitis, poison oak, etc.

I looked for a comparison of symptoms

Get it maybe every 3 or so years

Didn’t test because it’s nothing odd and don’t care
Cold nor walking pneumonia

I call bs.

When my brother and I contracted all the Covid symptoms on February 29, 2020, he tested negative for influenza the next day. (There were no Covid tests back then)

What am I missing?

Such a reasonable and well supported position. It that the standard now? Just declare something "fake news" and we are done?

It's a legitimate question. My wife got it and tested positive. I've been sick and it says negative. Why would that be?

Anyone got anything to support the claim that testing cannot distinguish guise between covid and the flu?
