How often does one get the VID?

So my first covid experience was in September of this year. Only had about 4-8 bad hours where I struggled and felt like I couldn't catch a good breath. After that it was gone. Cold like symptoms persisted a few weeks and my employer wanted me to work away from everyone - which is easy in my work and I did.

Now I'm testing positive again today. Freeking 4 months later. I thought I'd be less likely to get it again. Symptoms are lighter, sore threat, fever, and I'm sure the cough will follow soon. So much for one and done dang it. How often does one get this thing?

How often did you get the cold/flu before the domestic terrorists decided to release the vid?

          I've had it three times.

          March 2020, Sept 2021, May 2022.

2020 was a bear I was down for a month on two inhalers and a nebulizer.

2021 was mild like a cold.

2022 almost same as 2020 except took me longer to recover almost a month and a half before bad cough was gone.

Wife got vax in 2021 because of her asthma but no boosters. She's had it once, a year after the vax, but very mild case only lasting a few days. Doctor believes the Symbacort (budesonide-formoterol) she inhales twice a day provides an inhospitable environment in her lungs for the virus.

Covid is here to stay (thanks Chy-na). It's just like the flu and will never fully go away. Luckily it will diminish over time.

Personally I've only had the Vid once in the beginning of the scamdemic. My symptoms were mild. My wife and kids all got it again a few weeks ago and it didn't touch me. We are all unvaccinated so who knows how that worked out.

I can't recall the last time I had the "flu." Honestly I'd guess over 20 years ago. The positive test is what it is; symptoms are gone already. Sore throat and light fever 3 days and it was gone. I took lots of V."C," zinc, cold meds and was able to work through it just staying away from everyone.

I was talking to a coworker yesterday. She's had four injections and has had covid four times. She was just getting over a two week covid illness. She said that each experience it's getting worse. She has an appointment for a fifth injection.

Had it twice. It was like a very bad cold or mild flu.

The wife had it in early Jan. was in bed for a day with body aches and chills. It was about a week before she felt half-*** normal, she never had breathing/O2 issues. She got it again late Nov., she thought she had a sinus infection and went to get antibiotics and tested + for what ended up being a mild case of the vid.

I tested + in early Feb. had two days of body aches and the head fog issue, no breathing/O2 issues. Lost my sense of taste on day 4, very mild case.

Wife and I are vaccinated. We haven't caught it yet.

I use hand sanitizer when Im out and about and wash my hands when I get home. Dont know if that has anything to do with it or just lucky.

COVID is known for repeat infections. You can get it over and over, its just how that family of viruses are.

My 80 year old unvaxed uncle with prostate cancer had it in October and we was fine in about a week. No real issues.

My 77 year old mom just got it last week after going in for eye surgery. She felt a little congested, tested positive and took paxlovid which made her feel better right away. Never had a fever. She had the one shot J&J.

It really is a scamdemic. People loosing their chit (especially on CGN) over this.

We think we had it in Feb. 2020, but no tests and we thought it was a regular flu.

Spring of 2021 we had it for certain, very mild flu symptoms.
