I've got it again, people. Again, feels just like a mild flu/middling cold. Again, eating horse paste. This time, only 5 days until I gotta go back to work.

I was offered paxlovid but the doctor said it makes everything taste like acidic copper. I accepted the script to save for a rainier day.

Tested for strep, flu and covid. Neg, neg , pos. So I get five days off regardless of whether I think the test is accurate or not. I'm already feeling mostly normal; a little cough, a little sore throat, a little tired.

I thought it was suspect at best but the doc requested separate tests for influenza and COVID. I'm not going to argue because there's no recoupe pay for flu but I get 5 days for COVID.

My wife and two kids got it for a second time and it didn't touch me. I guess I have Super Immunity.
