What's your "covid-19 violation score?" It's used for elections

*mods, feel free to move if needed. I placed this here as it has overlapping elements of voter manipulation and covid info manipulation, with a healthy dose of spying on the masses.

A voter analytics firm harvested data from millions of Americans’ cellphones during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns and used the data to assign phone users a “COVID-19 decree violation” score and a “COVID-19 concern” score, according to a whitepaper released by PredictWise, the firm that harvested the data.

    TL;DR:
PredictWise gathered cellphone data, specifically from Republicans, and issued "covid-19 decree violation scores" and "covid-19 concern scores" to said cellphone users. I'm sure these will be added to your societal credit scores at some point.

The data, derived from “nearly 2 billion GPS pings” stemming from “ground truth, real-time, ultra-granular location patterns,” according to PredictWise, was then used to target election-related messages to voters during the 2020 election season.
    ...
PredictWise claims it “tracks the opinions, attitudes, and behaviors” of more than 260 million Americans, utilizing not just location and survey data, but also “telemetry data” in the form of “passively sourced cell-phone data,” “unregistered voter data” and information on media consumption.
They used this info to send election related messages and surveys to people. They also used this info to help keep adherence to the lock down decrees by targeting people they found could be easily persuaded by media.

“It doesn’t take a data scientist to know that COVID-19 was going to play a major role in the 2020 election."
    ...
PredictWise targeted Republicans who scored high on our measure of COVID-19 decree violation (folks who were on the go more often than their neighbors) and Republicans who scored low on our measure of COVID-19 decree violation (folks who mostly or always stayed at home) in the swing state, Ohio, and asked survey questions.
What was interesting was their results: republican "compliers" were behaving and thinking like democrats, and republican "compliers" over the age of 65 were more concerned with covid than democrats.
PredictWise found that Republican non-movers’ (compliers) concern around COVID-19 and persuadability was almost as high as Democrats overall and Republican non-movers over the age of 65 were more concerned about COVID-19 than Democrats.
They then used this info to help with various elections. One confirmed instance was with Mark Kelly:
The result — the Arizona Dems Coordinated Campaign in support of now U.S. Senator Mark Kelly was able to deploy this real-time location model to open up just over 40,000 persuasion targets that normally would have fallen off, allowing them to give the right message to the right voter at the right time.
Translation: they managed to convince 40k wishy-washy "complier" repubs to vote dem.

They noted they have various clients and have had extensive influence in past elections and campaigning:

The Arizona Democratic Party is just one of the entities listed on the “2020 PredictWise Client List” accompanying the whitepaper.
The national Democratic Party as well as state-level Democratic parties in Florida, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina, the Ohio Senate Democrats, and organizations such as Fair Fight Action, Future Majority, TargetSmart and the Voter Participation Center, were also on the list.
    ...
Last election cycle, congressional, senate, and presidential committees used PredictWise through the DNC [Democratic National Committee]. Super PACs pushed same-day registration in key swing states of Wisconsin and Michigan and produced the only statewide red-to-blue flip in a Trump-won state in Ohio (Brunner, Ohio Supreme Court).
As we already know, what we do with our phones and other tech is being used.
More in the article if you wish to read.

I'm sure I maxed out the score, considering I never gave a **** about Covid and knew it was a scam from the very beginning. I didn't comply with any of their bull****.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

I feel the same way. It was just a test to see if we'd comply.

Feel free to spread the word. It'll be interesting to see what they say.

Judging from the article, it's something our dictators caring leaders issued to control us keep us safe from covid. Hence the use of the word "decree" instead of using the word "regulation" or even "policies."

If you do not like being treated like that ditch the smart phone. Do not web surf on a phone.

Get a basic flip phone. Do not carry it unless you really have a reason, flip phones have GPS too, by law. All your phone data is collected, all.

Use a POTS landline phone if you can. Maybe there is a reason they mostly phased out POTS lines???....The need a search warrant to eves drop.

Do not drive a modern car with a built in smartphone and GPS tracker.

Stay off social media sites. Be carful what you write on any internet site. Use a proxy server.

Get mail via a PO box.

Pay for most things with cash.

Nobody said it would be convenient to opt out.

So my high financial credit score gets negated by a low social credit score...

                  Meh, whatever.
