Nothing against our forum physicians, the problem is that posting here is arguably "disseminating" information.
AB2098 has now been signed into law.
As best I can tell, what this means is that if a physician speaks out about Covid-19 and/or the vaccine and you do not specify that the risk/benefit ratio of the vaccination or even the number of people who were killed by Covid-19? Yup, you have been defined as having committed professional misconduct and that means you could lose your license.
It is no longer safe for physicians to say what they believe about Covid-related stuff unless it is consistent with what the assertions in AB2098 and/or whatever the heck the Medical Board of California happens to think.
You have to understand that there are 15 members of the MBC. Only 8 are physicians. All but two are appointed by the governor. One is appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, one is appointed by the Senate Rules Committee.
The make-up of the MBC means that every single one of them will be Left-wing. A whole lot of them aren't even physicians.
So unless you are willing to lose your license to practice medicine in the State of Kalifornia - don't say anything about Covid-related stuff unless you have somehow made sure you know what the MBC thinks now and will be thinking in the future.
IOW, shut up. It's not safe for physicians to opine regarding Covid-related matters in Kalifornia. Quoting the CDC may be safe.
