New CDC mask update in health facilities...

Can someone please define health facility? Would that include a dental office?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention no longer recommends universal masking in health care settings, unless the facilities are in areas of high COVID-19 transmission.

Verified the county I live in has low transmission currently, dentist still wants to require masks.

Found this on the CDC website, defines health care facility somewhat, dentist is part of it under specialty clinic.

I'm sure the five timers will be in here soon to say it's their business and they can do whatever they want, that's fine, it's my health care insurance and I can find somewhere else to use it.

Apparently my Dentist follows County and State Guidelines, not CDC, someone make it make sense

I would love to help you but I can't make sense of the government, because the government doesn't make sense.

(some) people think because it's 'government', it's official 'experts'...

Government are typically inept goofs sucking off the system.

Nothing can be done better by the government than by private business.

We need to curb the 'big government' crap that is going on.

I'll ignore the door when the fbi wants to talk to me about my opinion of the fuster-cluck that is big gubment. F 'em.

One of the many benefits of not living in CA I see, I found a nice loophole, it's not actually nice but I may try it, since dental offices follow state guidelines I will just say that I'm mentally ill, it obstructs my breathing or I have a medical exemption, the same will apply to everyone else in my family.

I am observing lots of young people wearing dirty masks with their nose exposed. I asked one about it. She felt it was to protect her. I weep for the future.

Canada??? I had wanted to go back to Lake Murtle in BC while my health permits. With the Canadian vax mandates I will never do that. Western Canada used to be one of my favorite places. Their Marxist politics have killed it. They can pound sand.

I've emailed and called the county and state asking if they will align with CDC guidance, getting the run around, county follows state, if state changes, county will not immediately follow state, someone make it make sense

On a different subject but worth mentioning, effective October 1st, Canada is lifting there vax restrictions for entering the country. Got an email from Princess Cruises yesterday since we’ve done the Alaska cruises many times.
                      Trader Joe’s….that’s the problem

I’m in OC and my local market has never demanded that I wear a mask. No one bothered me during the height of the mask frenzy when everyone wore a mask while I waltz in maskless. Right now the mask rate is about 10% at the market. I make an effort to buy as much as I can from there.
