Remember VenTilators? Here's how they were pushed by the White House

The author, Jeffrey Tucker, seems to have a lot of repressed anger the way I read his criticism of Kushner. From an objective viewpoint, I see it as the lad Kushner, was merely responding to the demands for equipment coming in from across the nation by looking for ways to get equipment and material to the Governors and hospitals who were demanding them. A lot of people got caught up in covid hysteria including the medical community and how to treat covid was not then (and still not now) completely agreed upon.
Managing severe respiratory distress has always been a very tricky business and deviating from standard protocols for ventilator use for those near death is a very risky and perilous proposition. To criticize Kushner for not anticipating what would be a radical deviation from the norm (that is, not putting severe respiratory-covid patients on ventilators) is a bridge too far for me.
The author also makes the mistake of critiquing Kushner's efforts at the outset of the pandemic by applying what was only known much later in the pandemic. I certainly wouldn't want to be treated that way. I would want my actions judged based on what information was available to me at the time.
The article reads more like a hit piece to me. -
Another Trump family hit piece, and OP fell for it.

I'll never forget that giant turd Cuomo literally crying for ventilators every day on the news. Nobody could whine like that guy.
By mid-2020 you never heard about them anymore. It went from the most important thing in the world to never mind really quick.NRA & CRPA member
