Sounds like you only need to work for a week then get up to $511/day or $5110 total (if your rate was that or over I'm guessing) for a POS+ on some fake Covid PCR test.
Does this mean you can "job hop" and pickup an extra 40hrs after your 1st 40hrs?
Because I just saw this and a bunch of employees are stopping by HR with "doctor's note" and who does that? Ain't it pretty much "If I say I'm sick, or twisted ankle or mean hangover...again
or got diarrhea
or "the clap"
I'll just say I'm 'out sick' and spare HR ladies the gory details"???
What about a "mental health day"
lol. What ever happened to "medical privacy" that employer needs a "doctor's note"?
Anyways, is this a new scam I'm just now hearing about???
Says "can be any test" but does it need to be done by doctor or just "free testing center" or what? Can an employer require documentation if an employee is requesting retroactive pay for the 2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave that is available only if the employee or qualifying family member was positive for COVID-19?
Yes, if the employee is requesting retroactive pay for leave that is available only if the employee or qualifying family member was positive for COVID-19, an employer may request documentation. This documentation could include, among other things, a medical record of the test result, an e-mail or text from the testing company with the results, a picture of the test result, or a contemporaneous text or e-mail from the employee to the employer stating that the employee or a qualifying family member tested positive for COVID-19.
Its for Covid OR Vaxx illness. In other words its for Vaxx but what doctor is going to back that up in writing these days, so whats up with that?
Now that I mention it some guy was getting his Vaxx card back from HR and was "back on shifts". Is it now SOP that you get a Free Week if you get injected?
If retroactive payment is being sought from the hours that an employee may use for any other qualifying reason, please see FAQs 19-20 below concerning requesting documentation under the statute in general.
Is this another way CA State is trying to drive EVERY job out of CA?
