Could The Judge Be Looking For Censorship By The Biden Administration On COVID?

Judge orders Biden admin to turn over Fauci, Jean-Pierre 'misinformation' emails sent to social media giants

...The decision by Judge Terry Doughty, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, came as part of a lawsuit filed in May by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, accusing the Biden administration of suppressing the constitutionally protected right to free speech on elections, the COVID-19 lab leak theory, coronavirus-related lockdowns and other issues.

The Justice Department objected to the handing over of the email correspondence under executive privilege and presidential communications privilege, but Doughty decided, "This Court believes Plaintiffs are entitled to external communications by Jean-Pierre and Dr. Fauci in their capacities as White House Press Secretary and Chief Medical Advisor to the President to third-party social media platforms."...

Biden Admin officials were just using THEIR protected 1st Amend right to make an unofficial "suggestion" to Big Tech.

Its like a when ex-politician does the well worn circuit collecting huge cash for "speaking fees" from Corps that got rich off their fundings, saying nothing anyone cares about, but diff. They will always pull out "Freedom of Speech" and "right to earn a living".

Here are a couple of passages from Attorney General Schmitt describing the rationale behind the lawsuit...

Missouri, Louisiana AGs File Suit Against President Biden, Top Admin Officials for Allegedly Colluding with Social Media Giants to Censor and Suppress Free Speech

...“Freedom of speech is paramount to a healthy society and discourse, debate, and discussion have been the cornerstone of our country since the Founders codified that right in the Bill of Rights. Missourians and Americans use social media platforms, which are now ubiquitous in our modern society, to discuss topics like the efficacy of masks and the veracity of the lab-leak theory. In direct contravention to the First Amendment and freedom of speech, the Biden Administration has been engaged in a pernicious campaign to both pressure social media giants to censor and suppress speech and work directly with those platforms to achieve that censorship in a misguided and Orwellian campaign against ‘misinformation,’” said Attorney General Schmitt. “In the lawsuit that Missouri and Louisiana filed today, we allege that government officials in the Biden Administration, including President Biden, Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, and others colluded with social media companies like Meta, Twitter, and Youtube to remove truthful information related to the lab-leak theory, the efficacy of masks, election integrity, and more. I will not stand idly by while the Biden Administration attempts to trample on the First Amendment rights of Missourians and Americans.”...

The lawsuit alleges that the Biden Administration – more specifically President Biden, Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the Department of Homeland Security’s “Disinformation Governance Board” Nina Jankowicz, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and others – both pressured and colluded with social media giants Meta, Twitter, and Youtube to censor free speech in the name of combating so-called “disinformation” and “misinformation,” which led to the suppression and censorship of truthful information on several topics, including COVID-19...

The lawsuit demonstrates how the Biden Administration has colluded with big tech companies to censor and suppress speech. This includes threats on the campaign trail, and now in office, directly working with executives and employees of big tech companies...
In other words, what is being alleged isn't "who is telling the truth," but that the ability to publicly debate the issue was squelched by the Biden Administration in that it is not only precluding information from being released to the public, it is going further in dictating 'punishments' for even openly discussing it.

Hyperbole, personal beliefs, and partisan bickering aside, such is antithetical to the idea underlying the First Amendment. Truth is never discerned by ensuring that only "what we think/say, in this moment" is put forth. Truth is discerned by looking at the evidence, whether one party thinks it relevant or not, and winnowing away until the wheat is separated from the chaff. What Biden, et al. are claiming is that 'the public' cannot, effectively, separate the wheat from the chaff given the noise. The issue at hand, however, is whether 'the Government' has the right to dictate what 'evidence' is deemed relevant (and 'truthful') and can be discussed in this circumstance.

What's the over/under on this judge committing suicide with a shot to the back of the head or accidentally falling out of a window, while on fire trying to hang himself?
I will stand for truth even if I stand alone.
