The problem is, once they allowed themselves to be herded into the box cars, they had no choice in the matter. Likely, they really had no choice before that anyway.

Those on the trains were gunned down if they attempted to run and those who didn't were punished for those who did to get the prisoners themselves to attempt to stop any attempts to escape. The time to fight is BEFORE you are placed in the boxcar. I hope that people have studied history-the Holocaust, the Soviet gulags, the Chinese "re-education camps". Our leaders certainly have because they are following the same playbook.
