There is possibly a dynamic involved here that I'm not sure has been
touched on.

As understand the facts on monkey pox:

It is spreading, it has been around a long time but hasn't spread like this before and it is readily but not exclusively spread by sexual contact.

It would stand to reason that the overall average reduction in natural immunity caused by so many being jabbed would put us all at greater risk for not only monkey pox but a whole host of communicable diseases simply for their new prevalence.

In effect we purebloods that follow protocols to ward off Covid are at little risk of getting Covid but we now navigate a world where those around us are more likely to be diseased with something for which a Covid protocol will not help.

Remember, HIV/AIDS started out as an unknown, then became a 'gay man's disease,' then became a death sentence, then became something you lived with, and has now become something where you can 'act normally' in many situations. In that sense, just as with many diseases, there is a progression which normally occurs. Just because we have our suspicions that the 'normal progression' is being used as a means by which society is altered, well...

HIV is still as serious as it ever was; unless you want to spend tens-of-thousands per year to keep it in check, and the drug regimine itself takes a toll.

Sure, someone like Magic Johnson can shrug the cost off, but it's still going to wear on his health more in coming years sooner than if he didn't have HIV.

People with HIV will succumb sooner in their later years from other disease or complications that their body can't beat, when the AIDS part kicks in, than for someone without it. Now take someone that can't afford the drugs and/or has no health insurance, they're going to perish even sooner - the slightest cold will fast become pneumonia they can't quell.

But at this point, HIV has very much now returned to being largely a disease relegated to gay men, sex industry workers who mix it up with dudes playing both ends of the field, and intravenous drug users. It's not as common for straight men who don't entertain these areas of interest to get HIV.

I would say it's even more so the case for 'Monkey Pox' right now.

Yet, due to woke Leftist madness, California has tried to censor the seriousness of HIV, because it is predominantly seen among gay men. They don't want to hurt anyones' feelings, or shame them, even removing it from being a crime if you have HIV and knowingly have sex with people.

It's still a death sentence: just one that costs more than $36 000 per patient per year to keep the Grim Reaper in the closet.

And this Monkey Pox crap is the same issue, with the media doing all it can to dance around the obvious - that it's being spread mostly by gay men. Call it what it is, and maybe these perverted freaks will take it more seriously.

Oh, but because there's a vaccine for Monkey Pox they don't care, it's just a minor inconvenience - just like the erroneous belief that because there are drugs to 'treat HIV it's no longer serious either - regardless of the fact it's still a death warrant to a higher degree welcome mat for morbidity than one would have had otherwise.
