Buddy just got Covid from July 4th.

A good friend of mine just was officially diagnosed yesterday. Sore throat, lung butter, cough, fatigue, diarrhea. Classic symptoms of Covid but was in denial.

He contacted me and I told him he had Covid even before his results came back this morning. Positive.

He unvaccinated. Late 50's. In good health. He started Paxlovid this morning. Will keep everyone posted on how this works for him

I'm thinking of getting some just to have on hand.

My parents (in their 70's) just got Covid. As did my sister and two nephews. All tested and only 3 out of the 5 were positive. Yet all had the same symptoms. The test missed two.

At this point the normal every day flu kills more people than Covid so you have nothing to really worry about.

So people got the cold. What did we used to do when we get the cold? Lots of water, bed rest, maybe tylenol and/or sudafed to ease the symptoms.

When did people start to test their cold symptoms to see if they have the cold or they have the "cold?" So what if it comes back as the "cold?" The symptoms are still the same. The recovery is still the same. The vaccines are still useless.

Yes, some people have actually died from the "cold." But people died from the cold before 2020, except they didn't make the front pages. I know of someone who died from a common cold years before the "cold" hit us in 2020. She was 22 years old and died in 3 days after symptoms showed up.

This whole thing is a farce.

I tested positive on the morning of the 4th. Started paxlovid that evening, symptoms 50% better the next morning, by that night 95% better. By the 6th I was symptom free. I tested negative the morning of the 7th.

I tested positive a couple months ago. Had a phlemy cough for a week or two. Work told me to not come in for 5 days. Got some projects done around the property (horse ranch).
Didn't take anything for it. No ICU, no ventilator. Three comorbidities. Old, fat, CAD.
Two of my adult kids live at home. They had it too at the same time. So did another son and his family that lives a mile away.
Wife had it last year after getting "the Jab". The rest of us are purebloods.

My little nephew and I have it right now, we are covid buddies. We just hang out and play Call of Duty. It is way milder than the first time I had it. Not on meds. He came to hang with us for the 4th, got a fever, and I was taking care of him, I got a fever as well, very mild. Tested positive on 2 separate tests, he also tested positive. So now he is stuck here with me where he loves hanging out and stuck playing Call of Duty and eating junk food with me until we are not contagious. Poor kid lol. I am sure he would rather be home mowing the lawn and doing his chores.

I have had the 2 shots just short of a year ago. 2 months later got covid, it was much worse, but just like a long mild flu and a cough when ever I exerted myself. Would not cough sitting or resting, but walking across the parking lot or talking would irritate my lungs and would cause me to cough for a minute pretty heavily. Never had difficulty breathing, but had just about every other symptom. This time it is like a very mild flu, low fever one day and just achy body and headache/fatigue mostly over the last 3 days. I already feel like I am about over it. Lungs are clear, I do get an itch in the throat that makes me cough just now and then and my rib muscles are very sensitive so it hurts like a mo fo when I cough. Not a big deal at all, I have had colds that were worse, but I was in the middle of a timing belt change in the garage on my car, do not feel up for that. Just lazy, feeding my face, and hanging with my like a son nephew.

Should we outlaw July 4th? Or can other dates also carry the virus? What about August 14th? That day sounds dangerous too.

I'm not blaming the 4th of July or any of it's festivities.

I'm only referencing the date for the time frame of his symptoms starting after exposure. Also I will follow up on the time frame and his condition after meds are started.

Hopefully the info I get will help others if they are infected.

Paxlovid? Is he wanting to get covid twice in a month?

Vitamin D vitamin D vitamin D u can't just take it when u get sick, get your blood tested to find out your levels and take supplements. It takes months to build up your levels.
Under 25ng/ml is asking for trouble, even forgetting covid
