Australia was one of the first countries to mandate the "vaccine", now the politicians there are being faced with mounting evidence that the vaccines were a disaster. They are attempting to spin the blame onto the physicians who were coerced into pushing the vaccine onto patients-the same ones that were told to do so with essentially NO studies.

While I partially agree that ANY physician who was blindly recommending a vaccine that had never been tested to any but the highest risk patients, I find it appalling that politicians are the ones who mandated the shots but now they are pushing ALL responsibility onto the physicians. Even worse, politicians are held harmless, the manufacturer is held harmless, but physicians CAN be sued for medical malpractice, so why NOT throw the group that does have risk under the bus to save your own reputation?

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, two things spring to mind...

1. The article you cite is about doctors in AUSTRIA, not Australia.

2. This is typical of virtually all politicians and is becoming not only SOP, but mandatory on the Left. We often talk about them eating their own if they don't get what they want and such has become true now. I just started a thread in OT... The Rhetoric is Out of Hand - The Left Says a Democrat Has Doomed Humanity.

The bottom line is that the rhetoric, particularly from the Left, but also from some on the Right, has become so hyperbolic that it's coming across as if no one is even aware of what they are saying; let's not talk about whether they even know what they are saying.

Which pretty much sums up what happened with COVID and, in some quarters, is still happening. It's why the messaging has been so muddled that no one knows what's fact and what's fiction. Even the doctors themselves.

Of course, the media bears a level of culpability they will never acknowledge as well. It's why the Public's 'trust' has been eroded so much in 'experts and elected leaders.' As I've said before, no one knows who or what to 'trust' anymore. Even if you keep your own counsel, that counsel has to be based on something and if all you have are your instincts to go on... well... about half the population will fail right off the bat in that going with your own instincts means taking responsibility for your decisions since it's hard to blame someone else for your instincts.
