That's not easy. I lost someone very important to me about maybe 8 months ago or so, unvaccinated. He was like idk maybe 70 years old or so and he was put on a ventilator. I wish he was still here. Do you mind me asking, was your friend on a ventilator? If it's an insensitive question, please ignore this comment.

          Sorry for you loss.

The only thing more heartbreaking than the loss is the fact that our medical system, after two years, does not have therapies to treat this illness effectively. They can stop a heart attack in it's tracks with a stent, they can break up blood clots with medication, they can save auto accident and shooting victims at deaths door, but they can't seem to stop a flu like illness from killing healthy people with near infinite resources at their disposal.

I buried a friend this past Saturday.

He died due to Covid. Remember, please spare me your conjecture.
If you choose to believe something other than what I believe and am stating facts to substantiate here, I'm not interested in hearing about it one way or the other.

He was 55 years old, born in El Salvador of the same descent.
He was unvacinated. He was healthy with no prior health conditions.

He never smoked, he never drank. He was 5'8" 195lbs of muscle.

He was a father of three. He was a multiple business owner with a fairly significant hands-on workload. He had not prior exposure to hazardous materials other than normal cleaners and garage workshop environmental conditions.

He did run an auto detailing business in the past and was constantly working on handyman projects in his spare time. He worked in the kitchen of one of his own businesses for some years.

One of his children brought Covid home from school...

I lost my friend Ignacio to Covid. I blamed Mexican hospitals because of the families described care or lack of it. He was vaccinated ulike your friend.

I am sorry for your loss may you find some comfort In family, and fond memories.

                    Sorry for your loss.

This is a reminder that viruses, including Covid, can be serious or even fatal. 30,000 to 60,000 people in the USA die each year from influenza. Always treat every day as if it could be your last-because some day it will.

Sorry for your loss. Had a friend who was a healthy gal who died at 45 from covid. Her husband and 19 year old son were hospitalized for almost 5 months. They were all unvaxed but hard to see a healthy 45 year old die from a disease

                              Sorry for your loss.

I would try to avoid mixing the vax' with a transplant if you have any influence... I know someone having problems with the vax and a transplant.
