It’s weird I’ve been around so many people that have had Covid and I still haven’t gotten it yet. Took care of my mom when she had it and nuthin. I think it might be because I’m in hospitals and clinics all day that I’ve got a natural immunity from a non Covid strain or something either way I’ve given up caring about getting it and have moved on. And I was forced to get vaccinated in order to work but didnt get vaxed until September of last year.

Lots of people flying and traveling now. My area we're at about 3% of total cases have happened in the last two weeks. It's a weird bump but luckily still not highly virulent despite the high contagiousness.

One of our relatives says the same for Virginia where they are. I'd suspect more populated/congested areas are going to have a higher incident of cases.

Yeah, it's going around Cen-Ca again, and I still feel like the Omega Man.

In my untrained opinion the latest variant is very easily spread, has almost no symptoms in people who have previously had COVID (Vaxed or not) so they are spreading. People who are getting worst symptoms are those who never had it before. It does seem like I'm hearing first hand reports of lots of new cases, most very mild.

No masks required anywhere here since May 2020
Nobody in family vaxxed. We’ve not had COVID.
Currently see no statewide fear here. We were one of the first states to shut down testing sites and maybe the only state that no longer allows counties/cities to mandate anything

Yeah - Mittens is a real albatross for Utah.

I can say that we've seen a HUGE increase in positive Covid tests, whatever that means.

I have to go in for a scan next week (a couple of weeks early) and was told on the phone that a mask will be required.

I'm sure this has something to do with it...

Case rates for COVID-19 are declining in some parts of California including Sacramento, but the statewide test positivity rate and virus hospitalizations continue to climb as more evasive and transmissible subvariants of omicron approach dominance...

                            Hospitals may require masks forever.
But I took my son to his pediatrician today and masks are no longer required.
                            I was pleased.

Wonder if it helps that we flew from DC /Atlanta/Sacramento/LAX/San Diego with a positive case, allegedly? 2 weeks to flatten the curve if every is exposed!!

Wife got it a few weeks ago while visiting Cali. Gave it to me. I had a headache for a day. She was coughing for a week until she took a suppressant then it went away.
