Apple Bistro is a great little restaurant just outside Placerville California that has been under attack both locally and from the Feds because of their activism against the over-reaching COVID mandates. The owners of Apple Bistro have refused to mandate COVID masks for their customers or employees, have been a part of other local businesses fighting the COVID mandates, and hosted at least one conference about the COVID mandate overreach.
In total OSHA has levied fines in the amount of $1,458,000 against Apple Bistro for refusing to require customers and employees to wear COVID masks.
In the summer of 2020 the County Health Department revoked Apple Bistro's health permit because they refused to require customers and employees to wear COVID masks. Of course along with the revocation of their permit El Dorado County has been issuing fines to Apple Bistro as well.
When Apple Bistro applied for a new health permit the county in March 2022, the County drummed up a new excuse to go after Apple Bistro: the well that supplied the restaurant is allegedly not permitted.
This is nonsense: The building has been a restaurant for many decades. Apple Bistro rents the facility and of course the County has never had an issue with the water source, for the entire life of this facility being a restaurant, nor have there been any health issues nor complaints, but the building owner and the county have colluded to kick Apple Bistro out. 
Dollars to donuts the new tenants will have no issue opening their doors.
