    WebMD Or CDC Mistake

    From WebMD:

“The CDC recently created a dashboard of how much COVID bacteria has been discovered in wastewater, though state and local agencies had been sending the CDC their own wastewater data since the start of the pandemic, The Times said. The appearance of COVID in wastewater can help health authorities predict outbreaks, scientists have said.”

COVID ISN’T bacteria. It’s a virus and as such antibiotics are useless.
    Plus COVID is airborne.

From what I understand you don’t get from contact or swimming .
All the sanitizing a waste of time.

COVID-19 is a new type of coronavirus that causes mild to severe cases. Here’s a quick guide on how to spot symptoms, risk factors, prevent spread of the disease, and find out what to do if you think you have it.

The article is written by layperson named Ralph Ellis who has no healthcare background.

His linkedin profile says he is a freelance writer for CNN and WebMD.. enough said

If WebMD publishes any Joe Blow’s COVID article without review then they are responsible for publishing misinformation.

Also, try to find those CDC dashboards. They have been removed.

Since COVID, we can’t trust ANY medical related publications, the CDC, or healthcare providers at all.

You are correct. Not everything on WebMD is written by actual healthcare professionals...

Hopefully, the article will make it over to Medscape and someone will correct/clarify the error; however considering the last couple of years, I ain't holdin' my breath. Even if they do will they correct the WebMD article?

I subscribe to Medscape in several areas and have seen them make edits/corrections before but Covid is a different critter.

          Respectfully

As I've stated before I trust my pharmacist, our MD's not so much.

Our pharmacist has saved my wife from serious drug interaction and/or death thanks to doctors over the years.

Managing your own heath care teamed with a sharp pharmacist may give you or a loved one a few more years.

As with most things, seek multiple sources for info when possible, health or otherwise.

As a corollary, much of what IS written by healthcare professionals these days is pure, unadulterated bovine waste. The entire field has thrown out science in favor of racial and sexual agenda.

Well, don't be to surprised to see maggots and leeches still used in certain circumstances.

I visited a a fellow a few years back where sterile maggots were used on his horrific burns. What ever works, fine with me.
