Well, the so-called vaccine doesn't work against anything so I don't see why it would work against a new made-up variant. It might make one more susceptible to it, not sure if that counts as working.

Short answer, No. Long answer, a little. The current vaccines were targeted for the Wuhan strain. That strain is long gone. IT is not a good match for Omicron. Vax does not prevent catching Omicron. It may make it less. The Vaccine loose effectiveness in a couple of months.

Omicron variant is not any more dangerous that a regular cold. Omicron gives long lasting comprehensive immunity to all covid variants. I have chosen to avoid all vaccines. I hope I get omicron or had it . I may have about a month ago. I had some of the symptoms for a couple of weeks. It was mostly fatigue and body aches for me.

IMHO stop getting boosters!! There is not medial reason, for many people the risk of boosters is higher than Omicron. Besides Omicron is extinct, stop worrying about the monster under the bed.
