Son got the Vid - this is a very smart virus

One of my sons (15 year old) started having symptoms Thursday evening (2/3). Friday he has a fever and sore throat. Took him to get tested and came back positive on Monday. Everybody else in the family was in close contact, but nobody else tested positive.

Son had symptoms for a couple days and it was gone by Wednesday - very mild. There are five people in our house, so you would think it would bounce around to others - nothing. Nobody else had a fever, no sniffles, no sore throat, nothing. Even the common cold hits at least a couple members of the family before moving on.

Good news is he now has immunity. Bad news is wife is a mask/vax freaker and wants everybody to get boosted asap. She attributes the good fortune to masking him with an N95 wherever he went in the house. She masked and had our youngest mask (I would not mask and she was pissed). But, strangely enough (sarcasm intended), our son did not mask at night and he shares a room with our youngest, and he never got it. Good thing the Rona sleeps at night or our youngest might have been infected

I feel sorry for you. Might be time to cut your losses and bail, or live a life of misery with a diminishing sex life for decades to come. Just wait until “The Next Big Thing” arrives, and all this BS starts again, in another direction. The mask freaking might look easy.

How many times did your son test for the wuhan virus? Maybe it was just a normal cold or even allergies. The test for wuhan virus isn't 100% accurate. Nothing is 100% accurate. It's not even 50% accurate.

        Stay away from boosters.

Blow her off until at least tomorrow.

Watch the Dr. John Campbell video released on 2-14-22 together. The video explains why it is a bad idea. It back it up with real studies.

            Then, tell her no.

My grandson who lives with us got sick two weeks ago, probably from his preschool. Of course my son and his wife are vaxxed as is her entire family. Before he was showing symptoms they went to a family gathering where everyone except the two toddlers were vaxxed. Every last one of them (8 total) got the coof. While back here at home my daughter in law is telling me to stay away from them cause I might get it again. Well, all five of us, who had it more than a year ago didn't skip a beat. Oh, and all the varied folks had it way worse that we did a year ago.

Score natural immunity 5/5, vax 0/8

My wife is mega anti vax. She religiously listens to and agrees with conservative talk show hosts. I never listen. She’s Mexican but became a US citizen in 2016.

we had the exact opposite at my house. Youngest, 12, was sick (not vaxxed). Fever. Tested negative. We don't mask at home or do anything special. Within 3 days all of the rest of us were sick and tested positive. Mix of antigen and PCR tests between us, and a mix of vaxxed and unvaxxed (but no boosters). He was over it 100% in 48 hours, took a PCR, to go back to school, and was still negative. The rest of us were sick longer. The biggest differentiator to "how sick" we all got was age. The younger, the less sick.

                      Yeah,

Omicron is the end of the pandemic. It is highly contagious, it is not very virulent. It is the golden ticket back to normal Fighting it is a waste of time. Sometimes we have to suffer a little to gain a lot. This is one of those times.

If you can’t get covid while sitting down, you surely can’t get it while laying down.

Takes a couple days to manifest so you aren't out of the woods but even then for most people its not a big deal. If I were you I'd make your wife stay outside until it passes. Put a cot on the lawn for her or something. I wouldn't tolerate that masker vax psycho stuff in my house. Thankfully my wife is more against it than I am.

sorry to hear this, many have wives that fall for the big gov't lies; they just won't admit it.
