    Just tested positive

Started symptoms in the middle of church service yesterday, chills, joint pain, got home and had a very low fever. Took a home test and came up negative, figured it was the flu. Just took the second test (after the symptoms are gone mind you) and came up positive. Took the day off work because I felt a bit crappy this morning nowim completely over it. Guess I get a free week off work, at least that's what they are telling me. My wife's work said they will continue to let her go as long as she tests negative.

This is my second go round, first time I was asymptomatic. We think my wife gave it to me when wecwere quarantined last year, no bug deal so far.

Are you using the proper test?

U.S.—Under the advisement of the CDC and WHO, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases will be replacing all COVID tests with just a coin you flip.

I hope you feel better soon. I got a similar bug last Friday night and still feel pretty rotten. I didn't bother testing for Covid because the result wouldn't matter one way or the other to me anyway. One upside(?) of working from home is I can still work as long as I can sit upright in my chair and I won't fall behind due to being sick.

We all had the same thing here today. Started for me last night with chills and aching. I ended up vomiting quite a bit. Took day off work, but now could be longer because I'm "flagged". 24 hours later still have a tight chest but I'm overall feeling fine.

3 out of 4 in our house took covid tests and all negatives. Remember something called the 24 hour flu?

Thought it was a 24 hour flu as well, that's all it lasted.

Just giving you a ribbing. Hope you start feeling better. Wife and I have been getting all kinds of sick lately, probably because the baby is bringing the crap home from day care but I'm sick of being sick.

My family back in California have been getting sick as well but testing negative for the Vid's. Wife's family all got the Vid at the same time. Weird garbage going around it seems.

                      Get better soon.

Have you informed the pastors at church?

Yep, told him who I was sitting near so they can be notified.

LOL, why? It won't change anything.

And why bother verifying? You are fine, it's just the flu. Why are people freaking out about covid?

I probably had it, I didn't care. No tests, no reporting my covid to anyone. I did what I wanted and went where I wanted. Just like I would if I had a mild case of the sniffles.
