    Cliff Notes:

    In response to the outbreak of SARS in 2010 and SARS-CoV-2 in 2019, researchers doubled down on efforts to understand the mechanisms and potentials of naturally-occurring zinc ionophores like Quercetin and other plant polyphenols.

    Zinc is well-known for its antibacterial and antiviral effects. Especially considering its effects on RNA-viruses, including the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus, zinc is of renewed interest to epidemiologists. There is promising evidence suggesting a protective antiviral effect when using Quercetin as a zinc ionophore.

                      We used the Quercetin / Zinc as part of our protocol and I am back to work after 1 week. My wife is battling it now. She's had a longer bout with the fever, going on day 3. My fever only lasted a day. I still have the loss of taste/smell.
