Hope you get to feeling better soon. Pneumonia is no fun at any age. I'd had it three times in my life, second was in boot camp (MCRD). I knew I was gonna die.
Tri-City hospital has funny rules too, and metal detectors at the ER entrance. They had to get a bigger bucket to hold all the metal I carry. No one was amused; I certainly wasn't.

We all had it last week.. sucked but wasn't too bad.. still have a headache and taster is off a bit.
Like I said, bad but not "give up all my rights" bad.. I've been sicker.

Damn, sorry to hear! It might be a tough couple days. I had COVID pneumonia back in Sept '21, felt like sheeit for a few days, stuffed with Remdesivir at Kaiser for 4 days until I felt better but noticed kidney levels were getting worse with blood being drawn daily. Asked to stop treatment and let me go home.Comment

There is a free (up-to 10gb/month) VPN called "windscribe" if you can get to their website and download the app for your laptop it should bypass the filters at the VA. Stupid blocking firearm websites, when people who are patients at VA are generally those who are among the most responsible when it comes to handling firearms.
