The Army has been seeing a 43% positive rate. It simply started telling soldiers to not even bother getting tested. If they have flu like symptoms they are supposed to stay home and drink lots of water until they feel better.

Looks like I guessed wrong and the backlog of test results for the week came in hot.

Going back to Jan 2-3 cases are up over last week. I was hoping the lagging data wouldn't make it jump so much.

So at my site we've had testing for over a year now and all of a sudden everyone is testing positive even though they aren't sick and being sent home. Anyone else seeing this?

YES

My wife's elementary school did 100% testing on the student population the day they got back from break.

Most of the school is out on positives, her class has like 8 kids in it daily, teachers are out, and the principal didn't even make it to day 1.

I asked how many of the kids were acting sick when they got rapid tested. The answer was not many.

We went from "show me your papers" to "show me your test results" it is a fooking mess. I think UCSF takes the rational approach, they only trust their own proprietary testing, they don't give a foo* about some street corner testing tent.

half of our onsite staff are out this week with covid. cold like symptoms but we all (including me) have to wfh and isolate for the 5 days.

Last week 250 kids at a school in San Mateo tested positive.
My acquaintance waited three hours in a car line for a covid test. She took her alleged positive kids.(as did many other parents) The kids tested negative. The parents and other family members tested negative. took like 3_4 days to get results. Very strange how in one session 250 kids test positive. I told her to talk to other parents and go report to a media outlet.
These people lost work time by self quarantine and kids suffered stress as did adults..

At this scale of testing, masking, jabbing, hysteria, and the money chasing it all...
