In seeing so many of the posters here claiming vaccinations, booster's and still getting the disease, yet still thankful for the vax, even among CGers, I've concluded that the propoganda is succeeding more and more. Many of those vaxxed weren't even mandated. Many were likely opposed to the vax initially.
More and more are just frightened and just can't ignore the tele any more. They actually are starting to believe the Dark Winter predictions.
Wondering if it's mainly a blue region thing.
Still no mask or vax mandate in the public school here or at my wife's job as a dental assistant.

My boy was just sick. We got him tested just to make sure since we are going to visit family tomorrow. But no it was not Covid. He just had a run of the mill cold. We already had the vid a few months ago.

All I can say is there are 2 new cases in the house on my left and 4 new cases in the house on my right this week. All miserable, none hospitalized. Seems 50/50 vaxed or not.

Wife's work has told all employees to shelter at home for 10 days as they to have new cases.

I am hopeful Omicron is mild but I am beyond pretending it isn't spreading like wildfire.

We used to have things like...the flu....and the cold....in winter time.
