Early January it will be crazy case numbers, coincidentally it is also when the California legislature resumes. True, but with a quick rise it will be nonstop panic about overflowing ICU's again. Even with omicron's reduced symptoms, a huge volume of cases will put significant pressure on hospitals.

That's true. Florida has been open forever, Texas for most of the year. Both has very few cases, hospitals not overwhelmed - covid essentially over.It doesn't seem to be much of a concern unless you jacked up your immune
system by getting jabbed.
