Omicron appears to be a genetic blending of the common cold and a covid like virus. It does not appear to be covid 19. Some common cold viruses are corona viruses. Interestingly there are elements of HIV genetic code in Covid 19. I am not sure what that really means. All life had significant duplication of genetic sequences. It might suggest laboratory manufacture of the virus though. Bottom line, Omicron is not causing significant illness, any restrictions or mandates base on it are pure hysteria or just evil intent.
