    New variant in South Africa

Don't get too jacked up about the headline. The key part is it's overblown:

I think we know why. The powers in govt are in love with "Covid! Get vaccine! Get 5 of them!"

Travel restrictions on southern African states imposed by countries after discovery of B.1.1.529 already harming economy

And so does the media; Coronavirus was a boon for them for clicks-and-views these past 2 years, boosting their profits from advertisers, as more people were home, sat around the house with little to do, and surfed the internet all day obsessing about SARS-CoV2 and COVID-19 news, stories, opinions, whatever.

It's little more than Coronavirus porn for newly made hypochondriacs that can't get enough of the fodder, regardless of facts or not. (As was seen with the recent approach to the Rittenhouse trial too.)

It's like CNN losing huge market/viewer share once Trump was no longer President - the media is still running as nearly stories about Trump even though he's no longer in office, because it brings them the clicks by the still suffering TDS crowd.

Leftist media does NOT want the hype to go away, they DON'T want a cure. It's like stop-cancer charity/research organizations; if ever they actually found a cure, they would lose billions in dollars and funding, the CEO's of those organizations would lose their multi-million dollar salaries.

The WHO had an emergency meeting Friday on this. Fauci was asked if it evades the vaccines, and he said we don't know, but we have our scientists working with South African scientists on that issue.

Fauci never says we don't know if the vaccines will work or not. This tells me Fauci received really bad news already and is stalling for time.

I just watched them say that they can change the vaccine in 100 days. If that's the case then why wasn't it changed for delta?

What's truly disturbing is that this viral pervert will be disappointed if the vaccines do work against it, or worse, if the vaccines don't work, but the effects of this Botswana variant are no more a threat than an itch.

I still think Fauci has money in this game, or he's seeing pay-per-interview, talk-show, and speaking-engagement proceeds, and the longer he's relevant the more money he makes - so he's essentially sustaining and fabricating his own demand and fame/media hype as a sought-after interviewee for as long as possible by repeating these 'crisis' claims to the press, the CDC, and Xiden's puppet-masters.

they claimed it worked on delta

Didn't they claim their vaxes mitigated the impacts of delta on those who got it? The vax has never been the solution to spreading it - only supposed to reduce the impact on those who get it?

              2. At what cost?

Excellent - Just like March 2020 - a perfect time to buy. This nonsense won't last, and is on a shorter leash than even the first variant had been; recovery will be swift and quick.

You can't do adequate safety trials on that timeline, even by covid vax standards.

Yeah thats the story now. The goalposts have been moved to where we're at now. We went to you can't get covid with the vaxx to,
"What we’re starting to see now is an uptick in hospitalizations among people who’ve been vaccinated but not boosted."

When had that been a issue? We just approved a vaxx for kids with very little trials. "We have to approve this to find out what the side effects are."

Governments all across the world are already preparing new lockdowns.

Waiting for Pelosi, Schumer, Biden and their Leftist robots to claim it's racist, just the way they did when Trump suggested we ban travelers from China and India.

Which had that been implemented at the time, that early in the spread, would have saved America from more than 80% of the fate it suffered. Instead, SARS-CoV2 got spread to hundreds of our biggest cities within just a few weeks of that refusal to apply such incoming travel into the U.S. from those two countries alone.

The powers to be have convinced the masses that the warp speed method is the way to go for ANY bug that shows it's face in the future. And that masking, vaxxing/boosting, QR passports needs to be a normal part of life til kingdom come. Even though these diseases will be harmless to most as they always have.
The majority will buy it.. In most regions

I'm not so sure. The trust is gone for most. We know so many people that got the Vax then got covid. They say they won't take another shot. That said fear is a hell of a drug.
