in the quoted OP, "vaccines actually increase the rate of infection", which directly is not accurate. There's no way for the vaccine to cause that. But since the vaccines don't actually keep you from catching and spreading, but they went with "if you get the vax you can pull the mask and stop social distancing and go back to normal" then I think what we're seeing is obvious. Without a real vaccine, continual spread is inevitable and not going to be slowed. Even if the vaccine does in fact reduce deaths and hospitalizations in the weak/vulnerable, it's still never going to "flatten the curve".
