If we stopped testing case counts would plummet as well. Covid is over, it's no longer a real thing in terms of effect on society. If the CDC/FDA/Pfizer/Moderna/J&J/MSM/Fauci stopped talking about it like could 100% resume as normal. TX has been open since may, you'd never know we had such a thing as covid. Just came back from a Rolling Stones concert, easily 75k. Could have been 100k. No masks!

Interesting - won't surprise me at all if the testing becomes centralized at some point.

'Cases' don't really matter except to those within the government seeking more control. Hospitalizations are down. All those NFL players who are taken off the active roster probably don't even have a runny nose.

Guess what happens when the case numbers are small and the morbidity is low - there are seemingly wild fluctuations in most any type of dataset.

The curse of small numbers is wild fluctuations that confound any analysis.

Japan has 125 million people (majority are older) and yet they have case counts in the 1000's.
