On the UK link, I think it was posted here by someone a few weeks ago as well. When you consider that 80% of the population took up the vaccine and you have 60+ year olds in the 90% vaccinated status and the majority of the unvaccinated are young it makes perfect sense.

Old people are more likely to die, and they are much more represented in the vaccinated pool.

Young people are less likely to die and they are much more represented in the unvaccinated pool.
