Being a grown up other than leftist means a number of things.

There are times for stoicism, pragmatism and being prepared to carry more
of the load when others around you maybe can't.

But then it's also right to say that all the 'covid' deaths are just regular deaths. The Elderly/Sick/Obese all have their issues - the could easily die from the regular Flu or the countless other respiratory viruses in circulation, CDC calls them "ILI." It's gotten to the point where covid doesn't even warrant tracking.

In reality of course global governments will continue to use it as an excuse to enrich themselves and limit individual freedoms. 'Science' doesn't have anything to do with it, 'safety' has nothing to do with it. Covid is a flu-like cousin of the common cold, harmless to the vast majority of people.
