I'm currently going to be terminated from my job over noncompliance. The only thing which isn't clear is whether they are sticking to Dec 8th in my religious exemption denial letter, or if the company wide emails about the mandate enforcement moved out to January supercede my denial letter. Not everyone is just talk on this subject.

This will be the narrative:
1) The virus was discovered
2) Vaccine created
3) The Unvaxxed caused people to take the vaccine
4) Side effects are the fault of the Unvaxxed

We've been through a few spikes/surges/humps/seasons with the covid. The media has hyped it up and there are all kinds of graphs & stats available to show what is going on. Yet - there are no bodies in the streets, hospitals are not actually overwhelmed. Life seems normal.

However from my overseas counterparts I'm hearing how mainstream the vaccination has become. They've all been vaxxed and are looking forward to the next booster as soon as it's available.

My prediction:
- Vaccination will soon be mandated for travel. All air travel, in or out of the USA. Other countries will have similar mandates in place so even if no mandate exists at departure, upon arrival a "passport" will be required. No escape.
- Boosters will continue indefinitely. One would think governments would learn from Shot1 and Shot2 and lighten restrictions but instead they've moving to Shot3 and Shot4. Israel has led the way but the USA is not far behind.
- Vaccination will be required for employment. So we have a legal battle at the moment but I believe the government will eventually find a way. Companies are increasingly compliant at the first whiff of a mandate. I don't think a single company will stick their neck out to protect their employees. Why would they? They might lose a few people but at least they won't be paying fines.

This is a global view. It has always been my opinion that covid would not affect our lives in real terms if all restrictions were lifted immediately. However I'm not seeing the worldwide panic subside at all, rather things continue to get even worse. My assessment has been bolstered by the recent news of Sweden adopting a covid passport.

I'm thankful to live in Texas where things are far more open than elsewhere but I'm expecting that our meager protections will soon be removed.

We'll have a choice:
1) Take the vax and hop on the endless booster train. Else no work or travel.
2) Don't take it and expect life to be difficult. Only the currently retired can truly consider this option.

This is a cause worth taking up arms over...
