The author utilized anaphylaxis as a proxy quantifier to compare an MGH Boston study to determine the under-reporting rate of VAERS was 41x.

The letter then goes on to speculate that the number is significantly higher, at 50x to 123x.

The big question is if the under-reporting is linear across all reaction severities and if so, is that number consistent with non-covid all-mortality rate.
