I have not seen paraquat for years. They cut it and burn it when they must intervene. The grows are run with an iron fist by the Mexican cartels. Mostly authorities turn a blind eye.

The big grows are done in the national forests. The growers are typically illegal aliens. Illegal chemicals like carbofuran are used to kill every that then flies, walks or crawls. It is used to deliberately taint the water used to irrigate the plants. IT also runs off and kills whole streams and lakes.

A person would be a fool to smoke illegal dope because of possible carbofuran contamination. Lung cancer and Parkinson's are among the ways it kills you.
