Plenty of time for a stay.
It takes 5-6 weeks to be considered fully vaccinated for Pfizer and Moderna. People have only a couple weeks to decide. Plus, fully vaccinated will likely include booster requirements, to be determined at a later date, but most likely no more than 6 months after the last vaccination.

A stay would be nice, but people waiting for a stay may not be able to comply by January 4th.

Will this be challenged in court? Will it make it to SCOTUS? Seems like if it makes it to SCOTUS the conservative majority will overturn it

        Conservative majority? LOL

They don't seem willing to step in. I don't have much faith in SCOTUS

"Looks like if you work remotely or outdoors you are not subject to the mandate." Until later on when your rulers decide that you also need it to keep your job or buy food or fly, etc.

If the people they are trying to control are easily divided, it just makes it that much easier, even if it takes them a little longer.

First they came for the healthcare workers but WE (and our elected officials) did nothing because...

When they going to test the vaxxed? So a vaxxed person can spread this to other vaxxed and it's ok? This makes a whole lot of sense.

It gets easier when you stop trying to have it make sense

                      That's what I'm wondering too.

Maybe I could do an at-home test when I get back home.

True, I'm one of those people that have to have it make sense before I act. I just need to stop trying to understand these people.

Yeah -- What is the l level of infection in the country at which this ceases to be an emergency?

Or are we in for a permanent "temporary emergency"?

I think we all know there is not much to understand. This is an end-run to a nationwide vaccine mandate, done in a way as restrictive as they can logically get away with.

Though we be the minority, our will is stronger than theirs. As long as we continue to not comply and be a pain, eventually they will give up and move on to other things.

This is the question I want answered

So there was a criteria for declaring an emergency, what was that? So then there must be a criteria to end the emergency right? Right?

                              Seems like a simple question
