    Nullifying Biden's Mandates

Here is some hope for people facing workplace mandates

More than three dozen Senate Republicans are moving to formally disapprove and nullify President Biden’s vaccine mandate on private employees Wednesday under the Congressional Review Act.

Who are they going to pick off on the Democrat side to actually get it passed?

Remember, even though there is, currently (from the article), no Republican opposition to disapproval, I'm not sure I'd depend on the remaining Republican Senators and they'd still need at least one Democrat, even if all the remaining Republican Senators agreed...

...A Republican aide told Fox News that the remaining nine GOP senators — Sens. Mitch McConnell, Richard Shelby, Susan Collins, Roy Blunt, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, Bill Cassidy, Tim Scott and Rob Portman — are awaiting the formal filing of the OSHA rule. The aide said that there is no Republican opposition to the disapproval...
    That's just in the Senate.

For a little background... The Congressional Review Act (CRA): Frequently Asked Questions

...Use of the CRA also involves several potential procedural disadvantages. First, one might argue that the likelihood of a presidential veto (discussed in detail below) means that most CRA disapproval resolutions are likely to be subject to a de facto supermajority requirement. Second, the CRA does not establish any “fast track” procedures for initial consideration of a disapproval resolution in the House of Representatives. As a result, unless the House majority party is willing to schedule the measure for consideration, in all likelihood it will not be considered. Third, unlike the regular legislative process, the CRA disapproval mechanism is available in the Senate only during certain statutorily specified time periods. Fourth, calculating the periods established by the CRA for submitting and acting on a disapproval resolution can be complicated, especially in cases where the act provides for additional submission and action periods in a subsequent session of Congress. Fifth, unlike regular legislation, each CRA disapproval resolution can be aimed only at a single final rule in its entirety. Multiple disapproval resolutions cannot be “bundled” together and still maintain their privileged parliamentary status. Relatedly, because CRA disapproval resolutions refer to a rule as a whole, the law does not give Congress the opportunity to expressly disapprove only specific aspects of a rule. Finally, if either chamber rejects a CRA disapproval resolution on a major rule, it could have the effect of putting a regulation in force sooner than would otherwise be the case...
    What is a "joint resolution?"

Joint Resolution – Legislation considered to have the same effect as a bill. Unlike simple and concurrent resolutions, a joint resolution requires the approval of the President. Also, a joint resolution may be used to propose amendments to the Constitution. A joint resolution originating in the House of Representatives is designated by the letters “H.J. Res.” followed by a number and joint resolutions introduced in the Senate as “S.J. Res.” followed by a number. For example: S.J. Res. 2.

Seems like the usual theater. I don't have any faith in these people. I've long prepared myself, if I lose my job it will probably be a blessing. Those that survive the coming calamity with their health and mind intact will find more opportunity than ever before.

This should have started at the same moment Droolin’ Joe put the mandates out.

While it's likely certain 100% of Dems support getting pseudo-vaccinated, I'm not so sure they all support the nonsensical and authoritarian mandate, nor holding someone's livelihood over a barrel to force them to commit to a scientific experiment.

Ridiculous to force a pseudo-vaccine on a guy who is also a small percentage of society voluntarily willing to rush into a burning people to save those who are trapped inside, or even mandate it on a guy who works in an office all day for a Fortune-500 company, and is never within 6 feet of others, shamdemic or not - especially when the pseudo-vaccines do not stop the spread of SARS-CoV2.

With the above in mind, there are likely at least 1 or 2 Dems, maybe more, that agree. They still must consider how doing so could injure the economy by putting people out of work, and make Biden look a whole lot worse than he already does, damaging their own political future.

It needs the House to also do the same. Pelosi will kill it. But there is value in the senators going through the motions regardless, as there are doubtlessly millions of ignorant democrat voters facing the mandate who still have no clue the democrat party wants their lives destroyed for their disobedience.

Biden would veto any bill coming from Congress with little hope of overriding the veto.

Grassroots resistance is the only way to stop the vaccine mandates and avoid endless boosters and vaccine passports.

Pretty much, I just had a 58 ish female school teacher tell me "It is too soon to Judge President Biden, It's only been 9 months, he will go down in history as the greatest President ever"

I asked her what she based that on.

                      Her reply

Living in a 55+ mobile home park, I can attest that a lot of seniors don't want their grand and great grands poked with these vaccines.

There is also concern of those that are pregnant or want to have children in the future; too may remember the thalidomide fiasco.

Yes, kill the mandates. Don't gut the military and jeopardize our next generations of our youth with this insanity.

I don't care if its a republican or a regressive; get rid of it.

                        Respectfully
                        Kyle

I have not met a single parent nor any that I know, where when this topic came up, they didn't immediately say "Hell, NO!" - and that's even if they were proponents of the pseudo-vaccines and even pseudo-vaccinated as well.
