    Not following own Mandate rules

My employer has a mandate. Had to vax by 9/30 or request exemption.

They issued a policy that was very very specific as far as protocols for requesting an exemption. I trust they would have denied anyone that didn't follow to protocol perfectly, because they are sticklers for policy generally.

Now one provision of the policy was they would approve or deny the exemption within 2 weeks of the request. Well that 2 weeks has come and gone. We are a month out and nobody that I know has received any communication.

To me, that means everyone is approved, but I don't think they will see it that way.

Nobody forced them to have a 2 week turnaround, they chose that timetable. I think they are now realizing that this is a bigger deal than anticipated. I don't think this will go well for anyone involved, employer or employees. This is so stupid.

Same I have noticed. Many people are past the mandate and still working. Moat people I know who challenged the company to put it in writing and then walk them put are still working.

I was told one of the main self driving car companies folded because the group of top engineers said they aren't getting it. They are still working from what I am told.
