I don't care if it's "routine" in the same sense as the Flu vax. It's always recommended but not forced. (The one time in my life I decided to heed that misguided 'advice' and take the shot, I got the Flu )

If this is a forced 6-month vax that's an entirely different story.

But you get a new flu vax because it needs to be reformulated to tackle the new flu viruses expected to spread in the next season. Now we're at 4 shots of the same damn vax. I'm not aware of any vaccine which requires the recipient to get the same unchanged product over and over forever at such a tight schedule to be effective.
