Sounds like they have the 'exemption' clause just to cover their butts.

My son works for Adobe (company bought by Adobe earlier this year) here in Utah. As a government contractor they have until Dec 8 to be "fully vaxxed". He just got over covid earlier this month and has never been into the office.

He is looking into a religious exemption but thinks it is a long shot. He has a salary that is basically unheard of for what he does and 250K of stock options on the line and a young family to take care of. He feels like he has a gun too his head.
The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

Well it's fairly clear this isn't going to stop at just the first shots, at least 2 per year without safety testing. But once people comply they will probably reveal several new injections that must be taken.

Gun to the head is a good way of describing it. I'm in the same boat. I'm an executive for a fairly large ($1B in volume/year) commercial contractor in Northern California. I'm getting pressure from my VP and COO to get the jab. Only about 25% of left in the company between field and office that don't have it.

Was called into a "meeting" last week with the COO. Was told they're considering mandating it and that they're prepared to lose good people to do so. Was basically accused of being selfish and not wanting to save my fellow man for not getting the jab.

                    I'm still holding out.

60% of the employees at my company decline to state or are a no on the vaccine. That’s over 13k employees.
There is lots of talk online of many of them walking if they mandate.
Seams like large employers are starting to back down in cases where they would lose a large percent of their workforce.
My union is the largest local in the country and they’re going to fight it.
It’s not a done deal by any means.

Yep, Religious Exemption was just deemed "Insincere"

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Just got out of our yearly healthcare/benefits meeting. Not a peep about the vax. Hasn't even come up in the grapevine. Our lawyer is pretty tenacious (and shes pretty MILFy too) and probably doesn't want to deal with any of that crap.

UT has pretty good protection for personal/religious and medical exemptions, unsure how that fits into the gov contractor portion however.
